Tessa is a recent graduate with an MA in American Studies and MSc in International Relations from Radboud University Nijmegen. Her research interests include diplomacy and multilateral institutions, EU policy-making processes, Transatlantic relations, sustainable development, and climate policy. Some of her educational and career highlights have been her exchange to Wilmington, North Carolina, writing a piece of policy advice for the youth think tank of the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and being a delegate in the Model United Nations Delegation of United Netherlands. She is certain that many more highlights are coming in this exciting role as Editor-in-Chief, and she considers it a great privilege to work alongside people from all over Europe and beyond. In her free time, she likes to learn new languages, volunteer, play tennis and cook.

Elia is a recent graduate of the MSc International Relations programme of the University of Glasgow, after obtaining her bachelor’s degree in History and French from University College Cork. She has joined the IGE academic team having gained experience as a reviewer of the Glasgow University-affiliated 3SJournal. Aside from her role at IGE, she also writes about human rights for Global Human Rights Defence and Yet Again, and is currently a delegate for the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons Youth Meeting of State Parties for Youth for TPNW.
Anna Warnaby

Anna Warnaby is currently an editing trainee at the Clear Language and Editing Unit of the European Parliament. Having grown up in Manchester and studied in London and Paris, she now resides in Luxembourg. Since completing an MA in Translation in 2018, she has worked as a freelance translator and subtitler, and has contributed to a number of online publications such as Café Babel and Untranslatable. Her interests lie in multilingualism and international relations, particularly EU-UK relations the impact of Brexit on identity. In her spare time, she enjoys learning languages, travelling and writing.
Ladan Kambi

Ladan Kambi is currently pursuing an MSc in Diplomacy, Politics and Trade. She also has an undergraduate degree in Politics and International Relations. Throughout the years, her interests in Sustainable Development and Developmental Politics have shaped her perspective and thus the experiences she has gained. She believes that awareness is key, having tried different avenues to achieve this: through writing content for various media outlets, as well as previously posting her blog content, so that she can personally ensure that individuals around her are well versed in political affairs, particularly issues that are not in the mainstream media. In addition to this, Ladan loves working on youth-led projects as she believes the next generation will tackle these many issues, so being at the forefront of this at the Institute of Greater Europe is an honour and a unique opportunity for her.

Weronika holds a master’s degree in Scandinavian Studies, as well as Journalism and Social Communication. Originally from Poland, she is currently based in Belgium, where she pursues the Doctoral Programme in Social Sciences (Communication and Media Studies) at KU Leuven and works as a Communication Officer. She combines experience in the private sector, academia and EU policies. Her research interests include online media, nation branding and migration topics. She has always been interested in editing, publishing processes and all steps involved in journals and books creation. When she isn’t writing or reading, she loves travelling and spending time in nature.
Angeliki Markopoulou

Angeliki Markopoulou is a third-year undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the department of International and European Studies, at the University of Piraeus, in Greece. She strives to advocate for the human rights, as well as sustainable development, through her volunteering work. Her main areas of interest revolve around EU’s external relations, international law and she’s very passionate about marketing and creating podcasts. Aside from the academic part of her life, she really enjoys to learn new languages.
Dan Ziebarth

Dan Ziebarth is a PhD Student in the Department of Political Science at George Washington University. He received a B.A. Summa Cum Laude in Political Science from Hamline University and an M.A. in Ethics & Society from Fordham University. His research is focused primarily on climate and environmental politics, migration policy, international law, and regional politics. In addition to his academic work, he regularly contributes to the online edition of New Europe, has written for The Brussels Times and EU Observer, and provided commentary for France 24.

Journal Advisory Board
The Editorial Advisory Board of IGE Journal is composed of senior academics from key research institutions. By representing the journal's scope, the Board members' role includes, but is not limited to, advising on journal policy and scope, identifying topics for special issues, and assisting the editorial team in decision making over issues if needed. In this way, the advisory board will serve as a bridge between the journal and the wider academic community, such as students, colleagues, and peers.
Armend Bejack

Armend Bejack is a Senior Lecturer / Director of International Training Programme at the Department of Peace and Conflict Research, at Uppsala University (Sweden). He has combined academic and professional experience on democratisation, peace and conflict, and political integration of former combatants. The focus of current research lies in the long-term impact of former combatants on democracy and institution-building as a result of their transformation in post-conflict politics. He has a proven track record of combined and adaptable experience on academic research, project management cycle, and fundraising / networking
Fabienne Bossuyt

Fabienne Bossuyt is Associate Professor at and coordinator of the Ghent Institute for International and European Studies at the Department of Political Science at Ghent University (Belgium). She is also co-director of the Russia Platform of Ghent University. In addition, she is a professorial fellow at UNU-CRIS and an associate researcher at EUCAM. Her most recent research projects focus on various aspects of the EU’s relations with and policies towards Central Asia and other post-Soviet countries, including development policy, human rights promotion and connectivity. She has published articles in, among others, Democratization, Cambridge Review of International Affairs, Journal of International Relations and Development, Eurasian Geography and Economics, Southeast European and Black Sea Studies, East European Politics & Societies, and Communist and Post-Communist Studies. She has recently co-edited two books, namely “Principled Pragmatism in Practice: The EU’s Policy towards Russia after Crimea” (Brill) and “The European Union, China and Central Asia. Global and Regional Cooperation in A New Era” (Routledge). In the past few years, she has also acted as rapporteur for the EU Special Representative to Central Asia.
Simona Davidescu

Dr. Simona Davidescu is a Lecturer in Public Policy at the University of York, interested in environmental and energy policy, with a focus on the European Union and Central and East European countries. Before moving to York in September 2011, she was a Lecturer in European Politics at the University of Aberystwyth (2008-2010) and Teaching Fellow in Environmental Politics at the University of Southampton (2010-2011). She is an Honorary Research Associate with the EU-Asia Institute at ESSCA Angers, France and part of several research networks on energy policy, sustainability and the green economy with UACES and ECPR.
